Oil vs Air and Water

As I write this article, the world oil price is traded at USD123.84 per barrel. I bet that many people would say that this figure is totally acceptable while its consumption mostly in USA, China and India goes up in a rocket. But how many people agree that oil is mostly used by end consumers namely, us?

Oil industry has become a lux industry for middle-east countries as well as some Asian countries around the world. Currently, Malaysia is one of the Asia countries who sells its oil to other countries. Don't be shocked by the fact that we sell our oil to outsiders and we buy outsiders' oil for our usage. This happens because of the sulfur in our oil is graded as low thus producing good quality of oil products. As you may guess, yes our oil is expensive than the one that we purchase from other countries.

Basically, oil and gas are natural source of energy thanks to Allah engineering in this world that they are produced just after million years from dinosaur fossil. They have made a lot of people becoming millionaire for the past few decades. Just take a look at the development of Dubai for example, this area has become the heaven of the world by trading oil and gas.

Eventually these resources will come to its peak time where the cost of producing oil and gas is not justifiable to meet the production and demands. We can even see the results nowadays by looking at the price of these products. The theory is called "Peak Theory" which was introduced by Hubbert. The theory was initially greeted with skepticism by oil industry but the theory seems to become a reality in recent years. But I will leave you to look for its information on details by your own.

The question is, what's the solution? Without solution I believe that the world will be ruled by anarchy rules. This may happen since the civilization that we build today is based on oil and gas. Take notes that these products are not only used by the end-user but also by most of manufacturing industries. They need these natural resources to keep their product line to meet customers on time. Without oil and gas they will not be able to run their machine to do most of manufacturing jobs.

The best way for us to escape from the situation where anarchy rules is by producing products that are not geared by oil and gas. Some researches are on the move to come out with oil-free engine. In Australia, they have successfully produced vehicle engine which is run by using air. See the videos on youtube yourself and you will know that I'm not lying. Some may ask what is the performance while other may ask is this a solution? The performance is good enough to run your car at 100 miles per hour and this is not the only solution.

If 100 mph is not that good for you, may I ask you a question? Who's going to drive at 200 mph in a traffic jam anyway? We have built spacecraft, we have built human re-engineering, we have built the fastest aircraft in the world, we even have built a lot of skyscrapers then why in the world nobody can build a better water-based engine?

In some part of the world, some people even manage to get engine works by using air and it's a lubricant-free product. But in short, we need the oil and gas replacement. Yes, maybe they are not for us but, somebody please think about the future of our children. This is the perfect time for us to create something for them. We can't predict their future but at least we can start making them.

What if we fail to produce oil and gas replacement? Back to my point, why do I say that anarchy will rule? Say, suddenly today just after you wake up from your bed, you are ready to go to work. You start your car engine and you head your way on the road. Five minutes later, you just realized that you need to fill you car's tank and you turn to the nearest oil station. Sadly, they say that oil and gas are not available... forever.

You started to worry, chaos start at the oil station itself. People start running amok while all vehicles are burnt to show protest. Oh! You suppose to get your breakfast by the time but food supplies are not present since lorries which suppose to deliver the rice run out of gas/oil. At that time, people start to fight for food and fight is everywhere. There even killing and robbing causing people need medical attention. Ambulances can't reach your place since van ambulances run out of oil and gas and there will be corpse that cannot be sent to hospital. More and more people die and diseases spread quickly since these corpses are not buried and more people die. Sounds scary huh? Well, welcome to the life of insecure and inconvenience life.
